As Box Hill is a "Dry Area" as defined by the Liquor Code, the Box Hill RSL must operate as a private club in order to serve alcohol. All persons entering the Box Hill RSL must either be a member of the RSL or signed in as a guest, by a member
There are several categories of membership
Service $40.00 per year
Available to members of the Armed forces,
either past or present
Affiliate $40.00 per year
Related to members of the Armed forces
Social $40.00 per year
Those wishing to participate in the activities of the RSL
Community $2.00 per year
Those wishing to partake of meals, drinks or the gaming room

BOX HILL RSL LAWN BOWLS SECTION
Off to a great start in 2012!
This year has seen the results of unifying Box Hill Bowls Club with the Box Hill RSL Bowls Section and an increase in membership of the Box Hill RSL Bowls Section to around 230 members. The unification also makes available the Poplar Street greens for the Box Hill RSL Bowls Section program.
New members are welcome – with the pre-requisite that they are members of Box Hill RSL. There is no joining fee and the Annual Subscription for 2011-2012 is $85. This is reviewed in April-May each year.
The Annual Subscription is less than most other Bowls clubs due to the generous support of our sponsors – including 9 NEWS, Anglo Italian Concrete, Doncaster Sports Gear, Hillross Financial Management and 15 other sponsors.
SOCIAL BOWLS
Social Bowls are played every Wednesday – weather permitting. Bookings are essential and can be made by phone on 9890 2590 before 11Am each Wednesday

VICTORIA BOWLS PENNANT COMPETITION
The Victorian Bowls Pennant Competition is held October to February each year. This year we have 5 teams in the Saturday Pennant Competition and four teams in the Tuesday Pennant Competition. Please click on the Newsletter link below for other details about the Bowls Section.
