Venue Entry

Box Hill RSL offers the flexibility of entry and exit via our multi level car park and reception foyer which is staffed while the RSL is open to guests. Please note dress codes do apply. Please check website or call Box Hil RSL for information.

Legal Requirements

The venue is only licensed to serve alcohol to persons over 18 years of age. All guests must comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol Laws. The venue’s decision regarding removal of patrons from Box Hill RSL is final.

Confirmation

Bookings are deemed confirmed when the required deposit is received and the Booking Confirmation & Conditions form is signed and returned to the venue’s Function’s Manager.

Security

Box Hill RSL requires security for functions with guests over 100, for the duration of the function. Guards are $36 per hour per guard including GST – required for a minimum of 4 hours. Please contact your Function Coordinator for further information.

Music

Box Hill RSL plays an automatic play list mix of Pub / Chart / Lounge depending on the time of day. DJ’s can be hired on your behalf to applicable areas only.   Production and equipment costs may also apply. Please consult the Functions Team for any additional music enquiries.

Decorations

You may add your own special touch to your Function by bringing your own decorations including tea light candles, flowers, posters or balloons. Please liaise with the Functions Team if you are having any decorations delivered directly to Box Hill RSL, alternately staff are happy that happy to source decorations, chair covers and florists on your behalf working with local suppliers.

Cakes

You are very welcome to bring your own cake for special occasions.

Last Drinks

Please note that lasts drinks are called 15 minutes prior to the close of Box Hill RSL. The venue’s decision regarding removal of patrons from Box Hill RSL is final.
